Ground Graphite Parts

Graphel has over 50 grinding machines on site to support graphite grinding, ranging from simple configurations (seal slots and blanks) to complex forms.

Over the past 40 years, Graphel has excelled in meeting the demands of the aircraft industry through the development of expertise in form grinding electrodes.  This skill allows us to produce high quality, complex forms at a cost far less than our competitors' wire EDM or milling processes.

Milled Graphite Parts

Our high-speed milling capabilities allow us to efficiently produce a wide variety of milled electrodes and other graphite products.  Although we specialize in electrode manufacturing for the aircraft/power generation industry, we have produced electrodes for many other applications. 

Turned/Centerless Ground Graphite Parts

Graphel produces a wide variety of round configurations ranging from simple rods to complex parts.  Our capabilities include tight tolerance ground graphite diameters, and standard tolerance graphite rods.  Our CNC capability allows for the production of complex parts used in both EDM machines and furnace operations.

Other Materials

In addition to machining graphite parts from Poco Graphite and EMS Grade Graphite, we can machine copper, copper tungsten, and silver tungsten materials for EDM applications.
